Made some yesterday from scratch. MUCH better than pre-made from the store. I think I might have to get a tortilla press...

Both corn and flour tortillas are MUCH better when done for yourself. A tortilla press is kinda cool, but not at all necessary (you can use your hands to get them as thin and large as you want).
I really like making corn tortillas, because I let them size almost like thin biscuits. You use them for dunking into chili. Add a little coarse sugar to them and they are great with syrup.

One word - tortilla pizza!!!
That's two words.
I know. Just seeing if you were paying attention.
I agree that the home-made ones are the best. Much better than the preservative-laden items from the store.
And I also use them for personal-size pizza in a pinch. Better for pizza, though, is my wife's lavosh.
Nice if you have the time... and enough people to EAT all of them! :-)
They take no time at all...and the Masa doesn't spoil like the actual tortillas do. Make enough for 2, 4 or 4 dozen. Just mix, smash, and cook. :)
