NRA Convention

I plan on going, and it is time to begin the planning process. Has anybody made plans yet? If so, what hotels look promising? (I am not spending $325/night...sorry Westin).

Looks like I'm going to miss it again this year... I'm scheduled to be out of the country...again

We're going -- no plans yet except that the hotel will have to have an indoor pool for Sweet Daughter. That's our compromise. She'll slog around all day if she gets to go swimming later.

I plan on going. If I get this machining job in a few weeks, I'm gonna have money to go. If not, I'm gonna have to stay here and keep looking for work. I'll let you know when the date gets closer.

I'm going. The Days Inn out at the airport seems to be having a special.

Newbius,

I am booked at the Radisson off the NRA's website. $100 a night and it includes free parking and free internet.

If we get enough folks at the same hotel we can car-pool to the convention (it's only 4.5 miles away) and save on parking.

I'm planning on going but haven't looked at places to stay yet. Hell, I don't even know the date yet.

I live here! So, yes, I'll be around.

I've got a few posts up about the convention, including hotels, food, and firearm carry laws:

If anyone has any questions, feel from to comment above or email me (wyman at wymanhq dot com)!

I am actually thinking the Embassy Suites Hotel in Coraopolis may be a better deal. $111.20 per night, includes cooked to order breakfast and evening complimentary happy hour. Plus, all the rooms are suites.

I am probably going to arrive Thursday night, and check out Monday the 2nd.
