RV 12 information

I recently spoke to a Van's rep about the RV-12 avionics package. As some of you know, Garmin has discontinued the 396 (the 496 will be discontinued shortly) and Dynon has some new stuff out. The Van's rep told me that the next iteration in the avionics package will eliminate the 496 in favor of the Dynon SkyView package with GPS, and likely with XM Weather and digital radio. Look for an announcement at Oshkosh this summer.
