And does a pretty good job at it here. The totalitarian Left wishes you disarmed so that they can feel better about themselves for having "done something" about those "awful criminals", while encouraging the very laws that facilitate their crimes.
The real tragedy is that we've dumbed down our education system so badly that rational, logical thought is no longer common. Instead, appeals to emotion and "feelings" are what trumps in argument today.
