11/21 is not going to happen. 12/5 is my next available date. Yes, groupies can attend (groupie of whom?), and Wai you are welcome to come down.
I traded correspondence with the CEO of the company that owns Sweetwater Tavern. A very good exchange, but the bottom line is no carrying in the restaurant due to policy. Should we look elsewhere, or press on?

I'm OK for the fifth. I get off work at 4PM (in downtown DC).

A beer sounds good! And in Va., one can't carry (open or concealed) and tipple. This isn't Indiana. Sadly. So I'm up for either open carry/no drinking at Champs or no carry/drinking at Sweetwater.

12/5 works for me. I live in MD, so I have no real preference as to venue.
Lets go with Sweetwater and no carry, that way we can enjoy a beer. I'm assuming we're talking the one in Sterling, right? And about 6pm? Since Turk has to work, that would be the right time for him to make it. That way we get a couple of hours, and people still can get home at a reasonable hour.

My family traditionally goes and gets our Christmas tree the first Saturday in December, so I'm only a maybe but I'd love to head down if I'm free.
Agreed. Sweetwater Tavern in Sterling (not Centreville) at 6:00 PM on 12/5/09. So far, it looks like 12-15 people.
As for groupies/non-bloggers...I am OK with it. My hope is that we can get to know each other, and continue to promote Liberty and 2nd Amendment issues.
