It's just like on the SNES. If you ran out of lives, or got a game over, you hit the RESET button to get a fresh new start. No penalties! The only problem is...can you get to where you were before you lost with as much as you had? Can you do better than last time, or will you fall short once more?

Not sure, but "Fortune favors the bold", and strong core beliefs about the true nature of liberty make for a good starting point.
