Weather II

Irene turned out to be a big yawner at Casa Newbius. We had one branch torn off of a tree, slamming onto my deck at the peak of the storm. No damage noted:

The local garden spider did her preparations, too. She went to the BACK SIDE of her web and bravely rode out the storm's fury:

We hope to have the local destruction attended to by mid-day.
