Need to start looking at a holster for the 1911. Of course, choosing one for her is going to be tough. There are so many nice ones to choose from. I wonder what cool things Dennis is up to?
One IWB, one OWB. Looking at Dragon Leatherworks' products (Talon, Quantum), also looking at a Supertuck Deluxe, or maybe a Milt Sparks. She has to like it and it has to be comfortable for her. Since she is woman-shaped, what works for me will not necessarily work for her...

I have a Crossbreed IMB, Supertuck Deluxe, that I love.
It's my current daily carry rig. super comfy. Don't even think about it. Price is right too.
I have a Supertuck Deluxe for my XDm45, and I also like mine very much. It is on the short list, but we will probably be getting a nice OWB as well.
What kind of holster do you think you need? IWB, OWB, loop or clip on, appendix carry, threepersons, crossdraw, etc.

You might try Michaels holster too.

He does nice work, and will customize any standard holster....He also does colors (which seem to make the ladies happier).
He has made a few things for me and Midwest Chick, and we have been happy.

For plain holsters, also try Stonerholster.com. They are very good. I own 3 of his clip on IWB holster for various 1911's.

that isn't to say i dislike Dennis's stuff - i love his work, too - but i own Michael's stuff, so i can personally vouch for it.
