U.S. Currency Question

Of the paper currency currently in circulation, three denominations have portraits on their face of people who were not presidents.

Can you name the denominations and the people in question?

Well, there's the $10 bill with Hamilton on it, who was the first Secretary of the Treasury, but is not a president, there's Benjamin Franklin on the $100 bill...but I'm fairly sure those are the only bills still printed for circulation with non-presidents on them. And then there's Salmon P. Chase, U.S. Treasury Secretary under President Abraham Lincoln, who was on the $10,000 bill. The $10k bill is no longer printed, but is technically still legal tender.

While the denominations above $100 are no longer printed, all but the $100,000 bill are technically still in circulation. President Nixon signed an order removing them from circulation, and the Federal Reserve does so whenever they acquire one, but there are still some out there.

Good job.

Glenn Beck will get a warm-fuzzy about this one. The $100,000 bill (the largest denomination ever printed) has a picture of the president who signed the Federal Reserve Act - Woodrow Wilson.
