When opposing worldviews collide

This is old ground, but I am posting it as a refresher.

When world views which are diametrically opposed collide, there will be one of three outcomes. Either one or the other world view successfully convinces its opposite of their argument (through peaceful means), or there is war.

That's it.

If tyrants wish to force their will upon you, they will do it through regulation (with the thinly veiled threat of violence for failure to comply), or through open force.

We have tyrants in the Legislative and Executive branches of government right now.

They are trying regulation and economic coercion to achieve their aims at the moment. Resistance to their aims will get you undue scrutiny from the "compliance officers" who will attempt to marginalize you, or arrest you, or bankrupt you. They do not care for your rights. Continued resistance will brand you as a terrorist, outcast, or traitor to the State, since the State wishes conformity above all else.

This is not the path of Liberty. Pursuing Liberty in this environment will be tough, but will be necessary if our children and grandchildren are to enjoy the same freedoms we enjoyed in our own childhood.

My hope is that those who would oppress Liberty are successfully persuaded that this path is dangerous and unnecessary. Because the alternative is too terrible to endure.

Marginalize is the minimum... I'm more worried about the 'mandatory compliance'...

Kinda like "We are the Borg. You will be assimilated. Resitance is Futile."
