NBC Priorities

On the Today Show this morning, the coverage was breathless about the cover-up and destruction of evidence in a major case. Hard drives being wiped by powerful figures got two whole minutes of coverage, and the reporter is anxious to see Justice get done.

Was this story about Fast and Furious? Of course not. It was about Nicolette Sheridan's firing from Desperate Housewives.

NBC continues their solidarity with this administration in abetting the cover-up of Fast and Furious. Shame.

Super Tuesday 2012

Will the Wookiee win Virginia? I hope so, if only as a protest vote against Mittens. Tune in to the national feeds at 7:01PM to find out. I know of at least two people who voted for Dr. Paul...

QOTD: Judge Benson Everett Legg

"A citizen may not be required to offer a good and substantial reason why he should be permitted to exercise his rights. The right‘s existence is all the reason he needs."
Judge Benson Everett Legg, in the case of Woollard v. Sheridan.

The opinion grants the Motion for Summary Judgment to Plaintiff Woollard, and denies the State of Maryland's claim. Score one victory for the Second Amendment Foundation, and Maryland Shall Issue (at the District Court level, too!).

Tournament tomorrow

Shooting sports of a different kind: Disc Golf. Like regular golf, only cooler. Anyway, this will be my first Singles tournament since I started playing the sport last summer. I doubt I will place, but it should be fun. Weather forecast is mid-60's with severe thunderstorms likely in the morning. I love a good challenge!
